|Elizabeth Ellisor||Martha Mullins Woods||We lived in the same neighborhood as children and also went to University Park Elementary being in the same class most of the time. One memory I have is being at a birthday party at your home - - I can picture the entry, stairs, and living room - - and I got the special ring in the birthday cake. Remember having those trinkets baked in the cake? Today they probably would not allow this for fear someone would choke but it is a fun childhood memory.|
|Robert Hemphill||Martha Mullins Woods||I went to University Park Elementary and 7th grade at HP Jr High before moving to McKinney. I have been recalling names of people I went through elementary school those many years ago and I thought of you. You were always a very talented artist and I was so jealous. I remember working on a large mural-type display (I think it was about Mexico). I want to say we were in the 6th grade and the classroom we were in was on the 2nd floor on the far West end of the school. As I said, I was so jealous of you and for some reason I hit you and had to sit in the hall for the rest of the class. Does this ring any bells? I am still not a good artist but I do have artistic talents that I have enjoyed using in various areas of my life. What about you?|
